Callahan & Peters, Inc. are members of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), Remodelers Advantage, Inc. (RAI), and National Trust for Historic Preservation. David Callahan has served on both the National and Chicago boards for NARI.

Nick Peters, Dave Peters, David Callahan and Renata Callahan have all earned the designation of Certified Remodeler (CR), having completed the rigorous educational requirements for obtaining this certification from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.

In 2000 when NARI moved their national headquarters from the Washington, DC area to Des Plaines, Illinois, they selected Callahan & Peters, Inc. to renovate the building they purchased and to build all of the office space for the organization. CPI received national recognition for this project.
